Freelance senior Unity developer

SLVR LTD is looking for an experienced freelance Unity developer to lead the technical side of IMPULSE, our ambitious metroidvania game, from concept to launch and beyond.
What Will You Do?
- Implement and maintain core systems and gameplay mechanics for the Metroidvania genre (progression, world structure, player movement, enemy AI, etc.)
- Work closely with the game designer, artists, and other programmers to realize the vision of IMPULSE
- Optimize the performance and stability of the game on PC
- Help identify and solve technical challenges in our cosmic environment
- Mentor other developers and proactively share your knowledge and experience
- Design the technical architecture and best practices within the team
- Lead the technical aspect of the development cycle and guide the team to meet deadlines
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience with Unity and C# or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience with game development, preferably Metroidvania or similar genres
- In-depth knowledge of game design principles and patterns
- Strong skills in debugging and optimizing code
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, Git LFS
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of blockchain technologies is a plus
- Proficient in English
